The Arbory

The Arbory is a conceptual branding project created to explore premium packaging design within the wellness and aromatherapy sector. The brief focused on developing a refined brand identity that balances clarity, calmness, and visual elegance.

The process

Typography choices were deliberately light and spacious, paired with organic illustrations to evoke a sense of serenity and transparency. I worked across both print and digital applications, producing assets including bottle labelling, outer packaging, and product visuals.

User Research

The concept for The Arbory was developed following user research into consumer behaviour within the wellness and aromatherapy space. I conducted moodboard testing and visual preference surveys to understand what audiences associated with purity, relaxation, and trust in essential oil products. Feedback revealed a strong preference for soft, botanical visuals and minimal, elegant typography. This insight informed my decision to use fine line illustrations, gentle gradients, and a muted colour palette — creating a visual identity that feels both premium and calming, while clearly communicating product benefits at a glance.
